Ingredients

150g of filo pastry
150g of mincemeat (I made these the same time as my normal ones using the mincemeat from that recipe)
50g of grated apple
30g of melted butter

Cooking Instructions

1. Preheat oven to Gas Mark 6/200°C.

2. Mix the grated apple into the mincemeat. Unfold filo pastry and use half of it to line 18 patty tins, layering 4 small squares of pastry into each patty tin, brushing each layer with the melted butter.

3. Place a teaspoonful of mincemeat into each pastry case. Top with pieces of the remaining filo pastry, scrunched up into folds. Mist each one with light oil.

4. Alternatively cut the Filo pastry into 2 long strips place a teaspoonful of mincemeat into the corner then fold the pastry corner to corner like a samosa.

5. Bake for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Dust with icing sugar.
